G’day!
I’m Jodie. Founder and director of motochick.
I am so excited to introduce you to motochick. A brand-new female motorcycle clothing company coming to you from Brisbane, Australia. Designed and created by a female rider, for the female body shape; our products are protective, comfortable, stylish and bright in colour where possible to assist us to ‘be seen’ on the road by other motorists. Our garments are for all sized female riders and pillions (AU size 4 to AU size 24) ensuring all female riders are included, feel protected and are comfortable.

I think about it all the time and wonder when my next ride will be.

I've been riding my own bikes for around 10 years now, prior I was a pillion. I just love motorbikes and motorbike riding. My favourite rides are up and down mountains and through the twisties. I also love watching and attending the MotoGP. I love all the riders in all the classes, but of course I have some favourites.
Finding motorcycle gear that fits, is comfortable, looks good and is protective can be a real struggle. And it can ruin a ride if something is digging in or hurting, or too hot or too cold.
I have been known to remove the armour out of jackets so I can move freely and I buy motorcycle pants that I never end up wearing because they are not comfortable. Then I end up wearing a jacket with no armour and standard jeans with no protective panels or armour. I know the risk, but I kept doing it, and I know I am not the only one.
So our first line of motorcycle gear was developed to meet basic CE certification in the lightweight class, emphasising comfort. These products use lighter weight materials, stretch panels and stretch fabrics to enhance comfort. The jacket includes CE certified soft and flexible impact protectors at the elbows and shoulders, while the jeans feature height adjustable knee impact protectors which just seem to mould to the shape of your knee ensuring comfort and manoeuvrability.
I can honestly say that I don't remove the armour from the AIR1 Jacket, and I always where the Sassy Girl motorcycle jeans when I ride my bike. They are also great for wearing in warmer weather conditions, or in winter, layer underneath with leggings and they are still very comfortable and easy to move in.
Thank you for taking the time to visit and reading about motochick. I hope you find something in our shop that makes you feel protected, comfortable, seen and stylish.
